- The funds raised will be sent in full to the charity organisations chosen prior to our trip.
- Our itinerary will include the villages where the projects to which the funds are aimed are situated in order to corroborate the proceedings.
- The media coverage throughout the duration of the trip will favour the awareness of the Asturian population and will simultaneously show the effort our sponsors are making.
- The coverage will also encourage donations for such a humanitarian aid.
What are we offering?
Depending on the economic funds received, we will carry out the following tasks during the trip:
Multimedia
We will film a high-quality DVD documentary. Our equipment will also allow us to take enough pictures to put on an exhibition.
Website
- We will have detailed information of all the funds raised and their exact destination.
- We will have links to the organizations of the Karuna Fundation.
- Links to our sponsors.
- We will download photographs, videos and keep a diary narrating some of the highlights of the trip.
Dissemination of the trip. Its aims in the media
- Radio stations.
- TV channels.
- Newspapers (At regular intervals, we will write about our trip and mention our sponsors and their role in our endeavour).
- After our return, we will continue the dissemination by giving talks and setting up exhibitions in cultural centres, schools and so on showing, at all times, the logos of our sponsors.
What are we asking for?
- We need donations for the Karuna Fundation.
- We require financial support for the material needed to undergo the Silk Route of Solidarity 2009.
Due to the unique character of the trip the material involved is very specific thus making the economic cost considerable. We are indeed prepared to face most of this but we would also be very grateful if our sponsors could give some financial assistance. Nonetheless, we consider this project to be of great interest to our sponsors due to the media coverage the expedition will have.
